Hi, this is Sunny Emmerich!
I'm not available right now, probably working on a new program, but I'll get back to you.

audio;
...Good day. This is Chrysos Kineas, one of the-- [ as much as they could be called, disorganized as they were ] --technical crew among the Transports. [ A pause. ] You are Miss Sunny Emmerich? I saw your exchange with Mr. Billy Cranston on the network.
[ Time to cut to the chase. ] If it's alright, I'd like to speak with you-- as with a number of others-- about a serious effort to pool together the collective expertise we have, for future projects. I'm available for direct conversation between the hours of 7 PM to 2 AM.
Any response would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
audio;
Hello, Chrysos.
[Her voice is so young.]
Since I'm not much of a soldier, I'd be glad to offer my help. And it'll be nice to find something new to work on.
transition to video;
...a few quick taps, and he opens a direct line instead, activating the camera. The book is dogeared and closed. ]
From the look of things, soldiers are in abundance rather than short supply at this point of time, Miss Emmerich.
[ Nodding at her with polite respect, regardless of her age. There's still a streak of machine oil on one of his temples, though his greasier work jacket hangs on a wall across the room, half-visible. ]
Could you tell me a bit of your field of expertise? As a point of reference.
video;
Oh yes, they are. I'm not sure I'd be suited to combat anyway.
Primarily, I've focused on engineering and advanced programming. I've also got experience with nanomachine technology.
Re: video;
Which means, in all likelihood, he's either being toyed with, or she's really, really good.
...okay. Focus on the point. Engineering, good, advanced programming, good (computers being something far, far ahead of his time, and that he's only had the last few months to start trying to get the hang of), nanomachines...
....nanomachines? He's only heard that terminology from one other person so far. ]
You wouldn't happen to be acquainted with someone named "Raiden", would you?
Re: video;
She's a little surprised to hear him mention Raiden and doesn't hide it. It's not a bad sort, she actually smiles a little.]
Yeah, actually. I've known Raiden almost my entire life.
[Her life once actually depended on his.]
Re: video;
...I see. We've worked on a mission together in the past. On Exsilium, I mean.
[ A bland enough summary of those few weeks of hiding and building in suspense and stealth, and discovering first-hand the phenomenal capabilities of cyborg technology. It's still nothing short of amazing.
And here's this young girl talking about him like an old friend; Chrys can't help a small smile of his own. ]
He's assisting this upcoming effort as well.
video;
[Raiden is one of the most important people in her life, besides Snake and Hal.]
That's great!
video;
Could you tell me a bit more about your work with nanomachines? They're quite ahead of my time, but...
[ Gesturing vaguely. Whatever general knowledge he can get won't hurt. ]
video;
My experiences primarily lie with second and third generation nanomachines. They're the ones I've been using since I was born.
They range from one micrometer to one nanometer in size, typically, and can be programmed for various purposes. Many, in recent years, are used for medical purposes. Mine are programmed to function for communication but I can reprogram them to repair any wounds I would receive by organizing a supply of platelets that would be used to coagulate the wound. They can also monitor my life signs.
